JoPhoto is BEST hands down. These two love their job and it is obvious! Their warm and fun personalities are contagious and put you at ease while in front of the camera immediately. I’ve read several articles discussing how important it is to build a relationship with your photographer…trust me it isn’t hard with these two.
The comfort level of my boyfriend Luke and I in front of the camera is typically not that great. After the shoot Luke and I both came the conclusion that neither one of us felt like we had just done a photo shoot, everything felt so natural. As you look through our photos you can see that Joe and Kathleen captured our relationship goofy, loving, and sometimes a little shy. When you find the right photographers, you just know.
Kathleen’s family’s farm out in Oak Ridge was the perfect setting for the shoot. Originally a surprise gift Luke ended up telling me, coming to the conclusion that was a better idea. I debated if I wanted to do a styled shoot bringing in several of HoneyBee’s props, finally deciding I wanted the focus more on us. The single couch we used is my favorite rental item, a 1930’s couch imported from France. For this shoot, simple was better.
I can not express how much we love our photo’s and enjoyed working with Joe and Kathleen. I first had the pleasure of meeting Joe at a friend’s wedding where I had made a backdrop for a photo booth, sInce we have worked on a few projects together! They have been such a help entering into wedding world, and I can not show my appreciation enough.
So here are my favorite images..I know there is a lot, but it was impossible to choose!
