Some of you may know, or maybe you had your social media overloaded with the hashtag #soloverly this past fall. I was the University of Tennessee campus ambassador for the startup company Lover.ly and was competing for a trip to New York for Bridal Week. For those who are not familiar with Lover.ly it is the first online resource where brides, grooms and wedding enthusiasts can search, save, shop and share all things wedding in one place. Lover.ly allows you to do more than just browse inspiration, the site also allows you to shop products by category, color, theme or custom keyword. The images found on Lover.ly are selected by their 35 blog partners with the content available exclusively on Lover.ly.
Part of my internship included arranging a marketing campaign on my campus. For my campaign I created a fun, girly shoot right in the heart of the University of Tennessee’s campus. At the styled shoot, I used props from HoneyBee’s collection and recruited some of my college teammates and dear friends to model. When planning the event, I knew immediately I wanted to involve Knoxville wedding photographer JoPhoto! Though the day was a little on the chilly side we had plenty of hot apple cider to keep everyone warm. The combination of the girls natural modeling style, my staging props, and amzaing shots captured by Joe the shoot turned out perfectly. I cannot thank everyone enough who helped me throughout the course of my ambassadorship. I am very excited and grateful to report that through the Lover.ly ambassadorship I earned a trip to New York in April for Bridal week!
